This year’s Panagbenga is a spectacle of colors and culture, showcasing Baguio’s rich artistic heritage.
A Tribute in Art
One standout piece is a striking lightning bolt sculpture, intricately crafted from yellow and blue tile fragments, paying tribute to Baguio artist and photographer Kidlat de Guia, who passed away in Madrid, Spain.
The Mighty Bhutens Art Exhibit is a key highlight, bringing the spirit of the Cordilleras to life. Featuring works by Kabunyan de Guia, Guiller Lagac, and Oliver Olivete, the exhibit draws inspiration from National Artist Kidlat Tahimik, blending playful spontaneity with cultural depth.

Explore Unique Finds at the Food & Crafts Fair! Running from February 17 – March 3, the fair features handcrafted accessories, local delicacies, and souvenirs, offering a perfect pasalubong shopping experience.

Families and art enthusiasts joined in the Family Art Day, where participants painted, crafted, and repurposed previous Panagbenga decorations into sustainable masterpieces. The Painting Competition captured the festival’s beauty on canvas, while students from various schools showcased their creativity in the Arts and Crafts activity.
Cultural Rhythms and Performances
Bringing the Panagbenga spirit to life, cultural performers from local groups filled the mall with music, dance, and tradition—celebrating Cordilleran heritage in a lively showcase.
The festival atmosphere was enriched by performances from Day Eng Cultural Group, University of Baguio BIBAK Ubbun Kaafuan, Paggawisan Tako Am-In from UP Baguio, and Gawis Culture and Arts Ensemble.
A Paw-some Celebration for Pet Lovers!
The Pet Pawstival brought together fur-parents and their pets for a fun-filled day of games, activities, and an adorable costume contest. Pet lovers and their furry friends strutted in style, creating unforgettable moments.
Weaving Traditions, One Thread at a Time
Guided by master weaver Cathy Ekid from Bontoc, participants discovered the art of backstrap weaving, preserving a centuries-old tradition with the support of the Pasakalye Group of Artists.
Hiraya: Dreams in Bloom – A Celebration of Art
The Hiraya: Dreams in Bloom exhibit featured over 60 artworks from 48 Pasakalye artists, showcasing dreams and aspirations through the beauty of flowers. The collection blended traditional and modern techniques, offering a visual storytelling experience like no other.
From Loom to Runway – The Blooming Weaves Fashion Show
The Blooming Weaves fashion show and exhibit highlighted Cordillera’s rich weaving heritage, featuring eco-conscious designs from the Fashion Designers Alliance Cordillera. Visitors marveled at intricate handwoven textiles, including backstrap weaving, pedal loom weaving, and ikat dyeing—each a testament to indigenous craftsmanship.
An Enchanting Festival Atmosphere
The Panagbenga celebrations at SM were further elevated by spectacular fireworks, glowing floral displays, and stunning light installations.
A Grand Tribute to Harvest Season
On February 23, spectators gathered for the much-awaited Grand Float Parade, where 44 beautifully decorated floats took center stage.
As a Hall of Famer, SM City Baguio presented a non-competing float, bringing the theme “Blossoms Beyond Boundaries” to life with a stunning design inspired by a bountiful harvest.
