DIY Taichung Taiwan: Rainbow Village

Getting There from Taichung Main Station

It’s pretty easy and kind of like a mini adventure on getting to the Rainbow Village:

1. Start at Taichung Main Station: This is the big train station in Taichung. From here, you’ll want to hop on a local bus.
2. Catch Bus 27: Look for Bus 27. It’s the magic bus that will take you close to Rainbow Village. Make sure to have your EasyCard ready for a smooth ride.
3. Get off at Ling Tung University: The bus ride takes about 40 minutes. When you see Ling Tung University, that’s your stop!
4. A Short Walk: From the bus stop, it’s just a 10-minute walk to Rainbow Village. Just follow the signs or ask someone friendly for directions.

Tips for Your Visit

1. Bring Your Camera: You’ll want to take a million pictures. The colors are so bright and fun!
2. Visit Early: If you can, go early in the morning. It’s less crowded, and the light is perfect for photos.
3. Stay Hydrated: Taiwan can get pretty hot, so bring some water with you.
4. Come Early: When we get here, it was passed lunch time, and many tourists are already here. Closing time is 5PM.
